Formación

• Pharmacist must be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD.
• Advanced pharmacy degree (PharmD, Masters, Residency) is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process orders and perform medication review for safety and efficacy.
• Ensure accurate preparation of compounds and safe handling.
• Oversee distribution to ensure timely medication availability.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Maintain inventory security and prevent discrepancies.
• Identify and document adverse drug events and evaluate reports.
• Provide medication education to patients to improve adherence.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacy team, providers, patients, and caregivers.
• Participate in safety and quality activities within the department.
