Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital is launching a new outpatient clinical pharmacy in Grand Junction, Colorado.

The role focuses on building workflows, shaping patient care standards, and delivering safe, seamless pharmaceutical services within a growing program. You will partner with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, and technicians to ensure high-quality care and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of practice.
• Current knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Immunization certification if applicable to practice site needs

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medication orders for allergy interactions and therapy appropriateness.
• Oversee preparation and delivery of medications to care areas.
• Provide counseling to patients and promote medication education and adherence.
• Supervise interns, technicians, and support personnel as required.
• Identify safety hazards and participate in department meetings to improve care.
