Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist to help launch a new ambulatory pharmacy in Grand Junction, Colorado.

You will collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, and technicians to design workflows and uphold patient safety. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality pharmaceutical care, shaping processes, and ensuring seamless patient experiences in a growing program.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution and licensure in applicable state.
• License to practice pharmacy and dispense controlled substances.
• Immunization certification if applicable to practice site needs.
• Experience in an integrated healthcare delivery system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patients' medication orders for allergies, interactions, and appropriateness; provides evidence-based interventions.
• Oversees medication preparation and delivery to care areas; ensures safe storage and workflow.
• Provides counseling to patients and promotes medication education and adherence.
• Supervises interns, technicians, and support staff; provides clinical consultation to health professionals.
• Identifies problems and initiates solutions related to equipment, maintenance, drug availability, and staffing.
• Identifies improvement opportunities to enhance patient satisfaction and safety; participates in departmental meetings.
