Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital is launching a new outpatient pharmacy in Grand Junction, Colorado. We are seeking a motivated Clinical Pharmacist to help build and shape daily operations, workflows, and patient care standards in a growing program.

You will partner with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, and technicians to deliver safe, seamless, and patient-centered care while shaping care delivery and improving outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• License to practice pharmacy and dispense controlled substances.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medication orders for allergies, duplication, appropriateness, and interactions; implement interventions to optimize therapy.
• Ensure medications are prepared and delivered timely and stored securely.
• Counsel patients and provide medication education to promote adherence and safe use.
• Supervise interns and technicians; provide clinical consultation as needed.
• Identify problems and operational issues; suggest solutions related to staffing, equipment, and patient care.
• Identify process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
