Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital is launching a new outpatient pharmacy in Grand Junction, Colorado.

We seek an enthusiastic Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist to help build workflows, shape patient care standards, and partner with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, and technicians to deliver safe, seamless care. You will contribute to daily operations, support the care team, and drive continuous improvement in a growing program while delivering patient-centered pharmaceutical

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy or B.Pharm degree (education verified).
License to practice pharmacy in state of practice and dispense controlled substances.
Current knowledge of state and federal regulations governing practice.
Effective communication, people management, and project management skills.
Immunization certification if applicable to site needs

Responsibilities

Reviews patients' medication orders for allergies, duplications, appropriateness, and interactions; provides evidence-based interventions.
Oversees medication preparation and delivery to care areas and ensures secure storage and workflow.
Counsels patients and promotes medication education and adherence.
Supervises interns, technicians, and support staff; provides clinical consultation to health professionals.
Takes initiative to solve problems related to equipment, maintenance, drug availability, staffing, and patient care concerns.
Identifies opportunities to improve processes and safety; participates in departmental meetings with ideas and feedback
