Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Cape Cod invites an Occupational Therapist to join its Cape Cod outpatient and inpatient programs. The role is split between Hyannis and Orleans clinics, with a 40-hour work week onsite and a geographic pay differential.

You will assess, treat, and educate patients, collaborating with a care team to restore mobility and independence. The position requires a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and a MA license; CHt and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Massachusetts OT License required.
• CHT and BLS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients' physical, mental, and developmental abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed.
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic activities and exercises at home.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes.
• Attend staff meetings and continuing education to stay current with best practices.
