Graduation from an accredited PT program and Massachusetts licensure are required; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required; licensure in Massachusetts required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required or Master’s Degree Physical Therapy preferred or Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred
• 1–2 years internship/apprenticeship experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and establish plan of care.
• Perform treatment and manual exercises.
• Educate patients and family on goals and progress.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to ensure quality care.
• Supervise PTAs according to policy and state regulations.
