Qualifications

• Two to five years work experience in front office setting in a healthcare related field is required.
• Business office work experience in a psychiatric hospital highly desirable.
• Insurance verification experience

Responsibilities

• Process insurance verifications for new patients in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and process admission verifications into the hospital patient accounting system.
• Serve as liaison between the business office and Out-Patient department on all financial issues during admissions.
• Greet patients and complete consents/paperwork in admitting and discharging processes.
• Answer all incoming calls and return missed calls daily.
• Perform general office duties: filing, charts, packets, supplies.
