Responsibilities

• Process insurance verifications for new patients in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and process admission verifications into the hospital accounting system.
• Coordinate between the business office and the Out-Patient department on financial issues.
• Greet patients and complete consents/paperwork in admitting and discharging.
• Answer incoming calls and return missed calls daily.
• General office duties: build charts, prepare packets, file, and order supplies.
