Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Lutz, FL is hiring an Office Assistant for our outpatient clinic. The role supports front-desk duties, patient check-in/out, scheduling, and patient communications.

The position requires an AA and at least three years in a healthcare setting; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Four 10-hour shifts weekly (Mon-Thu) and competitive base pay with bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a health care setting, preferably outpatient.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms; coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Communicate appointment reminders, test results, and information to patients.
• Adhere to HIPAA and clinic policies in all administrative activities.
