Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Pottstown, PA, is seeking an Office Assistant for our outpatient clinic. This full-time role supports front-desk operations, patient check-in/check-out, and coordination of calls and reminders in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• AA required; bachelor’s degree preferred; at least three years of experience in a health care/outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas
• Accept inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and forms; coordinate maintenance of office equipment
• Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other information to patients
• Adhere to HIPAA and clinic policies in administrative activities
