Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to enhance patients' daily living activities across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings. You will review referrals, conduct evaluations, develop and document treatment plans, and customize equipment as needed.

Licensed OT in the state with BLS preferred; typically 2 years of experience. Mercy Health offers competitive pay, benefits, and emphasis on family education and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred on hire, required within 30 days for some facilities)
• 2 years of experience in a similar setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct and document evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatment plans.
• Administer OT treatments and create custom equipment.
• Develop programs for functional skills, daily activities, and motor skills.
• Monitor progress, adjust goals, and participate in care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on at-home treatment procedures.
