Job summary

Mercy Health’s Clermont Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support patients across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings. The OT will evaluate patients, create and adjust treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families on home-care routines.

Qualified candidates have an OT license in current practice, BLS readiness, and at least two years of experience in similar settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (state of current practice) or eligible for traineeship/temporary license
• BLS certification preferred or required within specified timeframe
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related setting

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and develop treatment plans.
• Administer OT treatments and customize equipment.
• Develop programs for functional skills, daily activities, and motor skills.
• Monitor progress; adjust goals; participate in care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on at-home procedures.
