Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and other interventions to improve function and outcomes. The role includes documentation, collaboration with providers, and mentoring within the department.

Responsibilities include contributing to performance improvement initiatives, assisting in staff training, and participating in cost-saving and education programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an occupational therapist in WI, IL or both if required.
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire as applicable.
• NBCOT certification upon initial licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Integrates subjective and objective data to establish a treatment plan.
• Maintains a thorough record of services with appropriate coding and billing.
• Communicates with other disciplines to enhance outcomes.
• Plans and conducts lectures and trainings for medical staff and community groups.
