Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice (required)
• BLS certification preferred or required within 30 days for some sites
• 2 years of experience in an equivalent setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct patient evaluations and document treatment plans.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments and create custom equipment.
• Develop programs focusing on functional skills, daily activities and motor skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust goals; participate in care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on at-home treatment procedures.
