Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant to join the Evanston, IL clinic. The role supports physicians with front-office tasks and basic patient care, including check-in/out, vitals, and rooming, with occasional phlebotomy responsibilities. Training is provided for those without prior MA experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting training preferred.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registration.
• Check in/out patients, verify insurances, greet and escort to exam rooms.
• Document vitals, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support; basic vitals such as BP, height, weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
