Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field is required; on-the-job training provided if no prior MA training.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and verify insurances.
• Complete patient registration and greet patients.
• Provide front office support and basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.

Education
