Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Florida is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, with a focus on patient comfort and image quality.

You will ensure accuracy in positioning, exposure selection, and adherence to MQSA, ACR, and HIPAA standards while delivering compassionate care. This role offers a collaborative team and opportunities for growth within the national network.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• ARRT advanced certification in Mammography (M) required.
• Current state radiologic technologist license (where applicable).
• MQSA compliant — 15 breast CEUs every 3 years.
• Initial mammography training documentation complete (25 signed-off exams).
• Tomosynthesis and digital training documentation current.
• 1+ year of mammography experience preferred.
• Proficiency in RIS, PACS, and digital/tomosynthesis equipment.
• Strong patient communication and independence in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis.
• Maintain image quality with accurate positioning and appropriate exposure parameters.
• Apply ALARA principles and ensure procedures meet MQSA and facility standards.
• Document procedures accurately and support MQSA compliance.
• Mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
