Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for 100% outpatient, Monday-Friday work with flexible hours and no call. Compensation ranges from $300K to $500K annually, with a well-established, physician-led group across Long Island.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining EMR documentation. Requirements include MD/DO and NY licensure, plus board certification in Internal Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for NY State licensure.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to grow a local clinical practice.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
