Job summary

Talent With Heart in New York is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 100% outpatient practice on Long Island. The position offers flexible hours, Monday–Friday, with no on-call requirements and a compensation range of $300K–$500K per year.

The physician will provide comprehensive care, perform history and physicals, order tests, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with specialists while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed in New York State or eligible for licensure.
• Strong diagnostic and communication skills; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider delivering high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab results and diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment options to patients clearly.
• Maintain thorough EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists and staff.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS and payer guidelines.
• Engage in population health initiatives and quality improvement.
• Develop a sustainable patient panel aligned with growth objectives.
