Connectly Recruiting is recruiting an Internal Medicine Physician for a 100% outpatient practice across Long Island, NY. The role offers flexible hours, Monday–Friday, with no on-call requirements and a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and NY licensure. Strong diagnostic and communication skills, plus comfort with EMRs, are essential.

Qualificações

• MD or DO with active or eligible board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice is required.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a key clinical provider delivering high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical exams.
• Order and interpret labs and other diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients.
• Maintain thorough documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement.
• Contribute to sustainable patient panels aligned with growth objectives.
