Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 100% outpatient role on Long Island. Flexible hours, Monday–Friday, with no on-call requirements. The practice emphasizes clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration across locations on Long Island.

The compensation ranges from $300,000 to $500,000 per year, with highly competitive salary and benefits. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine, and capable of growing

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for NY state licensure.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with patient-centered approach.
• Proven ability to grow a local clinical practice.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to grow and manage a patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in delivering high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams for seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement projects.
• Contribute to sustainable patient panel development aligned with growth objectives.
