Your Talent Team is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 100% outpatient practice on Long Island. The role offers flexible hours, Monday through Friday, with no on-call requirements and a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Compensation ranges from $300,000 to $500,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements include MD or DO, NY license or eligibility, and board certification in Internal Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active or eligible board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects.
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.
