Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years in a clerical role with inventory and data entry.
• Typing speed 35 wpm and strong numerical skills; computer experience required.
• Experience with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers intake calls and completes EPIC encounter to gather history and insurance details.
• Schedules appointments and refers callers to appropriate staff.
• Interacts with clinical staff and attends staff meetings.
• Assembles new outpatient records with contents needed.
• Label and process outpatient urine specimens for drug screens per policy, collect payments and provide receipts.
