Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a Physician specializing in Infectious Disease for our outpatient clinic in St. Augustine, FL. The role targets 14–18 patient encounters per day with no nights or weekend shifts, focusing on outpatient care under a mission-driven team.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, is board certified where possible, and maintains active DEA and Furnishing licenses. This on-site position includes a base salary of $250k–$290k plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO with an active, state-appropriate medical license.
• Must have valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Must have active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards in outpatient setting.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Document the visit the same day or within 72 hours with accurate codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic/acute conditions and HIV/STIs as needed.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff.
• Review reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Support patient retention efforts with retention summaries.
