Job summary

Qualifications

• High school level knowledge with familiarity with personal computers.
• 3–6 months related experience with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience with medical terminology and in a medical setting preferred, especially imaging.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for imaging services from physicians, patients and others.
• Access online scheduling system to determine availability and schedule appointments.
• Prepare and send appointment confirmations and related documents for patient visits.
• Gather data to update electronic patient records, including demographics and insurance details.
• Obtain physician orders, verify accuracy, and scan documents into the record.
• Coordinate with imaging staff to compile prior records and status updates.
