Responsibilities

• Greets patients and directs them to the Imaging Department or outpatient locations.
• Registers and pre-registers patients; collects co-pays.
• Schedules imaging exams by modality in LifeChart; verifies orders.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains visit authorizations as needed.
• Prepares and manages patient records and related paperwork.
