6 Degrees Search is seeking a Medical Director for Infectious Disease in St. Augustine, FL. This outpatient role offers a base salary plus bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, with no night or weekend requirements.

The physician will manage 14–18 patients daily, supervise PAs/NPs, and participate in a multi-bonus compensation plan including sign and retention bonuses. On-site, full-time employment with relocation options if needed.

Formación

• Must have MD or DO with an active, state-appropriate medical license.
• Must have valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Must have active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete documentation the same day of the visit, or within 72 hours, including E&M coding.
• Deliver primary care services for chronic conditions and acute issues.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff.
• Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Monitor and respond to voicemails/emails daily.
• Support patient retention efforts.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs).
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage.
• Full-time physicians receive 4 hours of protected administrative time per week.
