Job summary

CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join our Concord clinic. You’ll be the friendly first contact, greeting patients, handling calls, and guiding them through the visit with empathy and efficiency.

You’ll manage front desk tasks, verify insurance where applicable, collect co-pays, scan documents, and maintain a clean, welcoming space in line with CDC guidelines. Recent customer service experience is required; Spanish fluency is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Recent customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Preferred: healthcare office experience, basic medical terminology, and fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and build rapport through in-person and phone interactions.
• Screen and answer incoming calls promptly; take messages, and relay information as needed.
• Verify outpatient therapy insurance benefits (where applicable) and advise patients of financial responsibilities such as co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance.
• Manage incoming physician referrals and prescriptions; communicate first visit expectations to new patients.
• Scan insurance cards, ID cards, and relevant paperwork into patient files.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles, provide receipts, balance daily collections, and submit charges to the Clinic Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment; sanitize spaces according to CDC guidelines.
