Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Practice Representative to join a busy multispecialty outpatient team in a primary front-desk role. You will welcome patients, manage check-in/check-out, and help patients navigate care across specialties with clear, compassionate communication.

The position is based at the front desk with occasional phone and insurance support, working 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors at the front desk in a courteous, professional manner.
• Check in patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Collect co-payments and direct patients to the correct service area.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and reschedule when needed.
• Prepare schedules and manage basic medical records and documents.
• Maintain confidential patient information and assist with referrals/pre-authorizations as needed.
