Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a PRN Outpatient RN CAP 2 to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for a group of patients undergoing hemodialysis. The role includes assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and collaboration with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and patient care technicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed to practice in the state.
• CPR BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Delegate tasks to direct patient care staff (RNs, LVN/LPNs, PCTs).
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Lead education for patients and families; participate in quality improvement activities.
• Direct daily delivery of safe hemodialysis therapy for assigned patients.
