Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP1) in an outpatient dialysis setting. This area float position supports RN supervision, education, and coordination of care for an assigned patient group.

You will assess patients before, during, and after hemodialysis, adjust plans under supervision, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing collection and analysis of patient data during hemodialysis; adjust care plan as needed.
• Provide education to patients and families about treatments and options.
• Direct and coordinate safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy with staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
