Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care seeks an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN CAP 1) in Atlanta to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for patients undergoing hemodialysis under supervision.

The role involves assessments, care planning, documentation, and patient/family education, working with the care team to ensure safety and quality. CPR/BLS certification and RN licensure are required. This is a full-time position with potential CAP advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with active RN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and compliance with state practice requirements.
• Entry level RN with nephrology/dialysis exposure preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for dialysis patients.
• Document in medical records and coordinate with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and care plans.
• Supervise and collaborate with Patient Care Technicians as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and respond to emergencies per protocol.
