Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry‑level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will contribute to assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating care for dialysis patients, coordinating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians to ensure safe and effective hemodialysis therapy.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease health care team, you will participate in teaching, leadership functions and quality improvement activities while completing CAP requirements for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential functions under supervision to deliver and coordinate care.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and updates care plan as needed.
• Provides patient and family education on care and disease management.
• Delivers safe hemodialysis therapy under direction of the team.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Participates in emergency response measures and staff training.
