Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1) in an outpatient dialysis setting. You will perform comprehensive nursing duties, coordinate care with the team, and advance through CAP requirements.

The role emphasizes patient education, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and staff to improve patient outcomes and facility operations. Training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure to practice as a registered nurse.
• CPR/BLS certification current or valid.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential RN duties under supervision and guidance of the Clinical Educator or Nurse Leader.
• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after hemodialysis; document in medical records and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Provide safe, effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer medications per prescriptions or approved algorithms; document justification and effectiveness.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in staff training and orientation.
