Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care AG is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for outpatient CAP 1 to support care coordination and clinical advancement. The role involves data collection, assessment, planning, and execution of hemodialysis care for an assigned patient group, with potential delegation to nursing staff.

The nurse will participate in education, quality improvement, and team collaboration, ensuring safe dialysis delivery and documentation in medical records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential functions under supervision.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and documents in medical records.
• Assesses and educates patients and families about care.
• Delivers safe hemodialysis therapy and manages treatment.
• Administers medications as prescribed or per algorithm and documents effectiveness.
• Initiates or assists with emergency response.
• Provides staff training and supports orientation of new personnel.
