Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 track. You will assess and coordinate care for patients on hemodialysis, document data, and collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and technicians to ensure safe treatment delivery.

You will educate patients and families, perform medications as prescribed, and participate in emergency response and staff training. This role requires state licensure, nursing graduation, and CPR/BLS certification.

Formación

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• RN with basic dialysis knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and update the care plan.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs.
• Provide safe and effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer medications per prescriptions or approved algorithms; document effectiveness.
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures.
• Serve as a resource and participate in staff training and orientation.
• Ensure proper laboratory collection, processing and reporting.
• Document outcomes and update nursing assessments with the interdisciplinary team.
• Discuss transplant and treatment modality options with patients.
• Complete CAP requirements to advance in the program.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current state licensure

CPR BLS Certification
