Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program to join the End Stage Kidney Disease care team. You will coordinate care, assess patients, plan and evaluate interventions during hemodialysis.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and technicians, document in the medical record, and participate in quality improvement activities. A nursing degree and state licensure are required, with CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide clinically competent care for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
• Document patient data, assessments, and care plans in the medical record.
• Educate patients and family on treatment plans and self-care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effectiveness.
• Lead or support nursing staff in daily dialysis care and safety.
