Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Massachusetts is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP1 program as part of the Clinical Advancement Program. The RN will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess and adjust treatment plans, and educate patients and families on dialysis options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients during outpatient hemodialysis.
• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after treatment and update the care plan.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and self-care needs.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Assist with medications and emergency response as needed.
