Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Neenah, WI is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for Inpatient Services CAP 1. The role provides leadership and clinical coordination for an assigned patient group undergoing dialysis care.

Responsibilities include data collection, treatment planning, family education, and collaboration with the health care team. Requires RN licensure, BLS, and CAP program participation, with travel to training sites and on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in all states employed.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential functions under supervision and with Educator or Preceptor guidance.
• Monitors and analyzes patient data during pre-, during-, and post-treatment; updates care plan accordingly.
• Educates patients and families about learning needs and care plan.
• Reports patient status changes to the health team and collaborates on care decisions.
• Delivers safe, effective care for dialysis treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinates communication with dialysis providers and facility staff for continuity of care.
• Administers prescribed medications and documents responses and justification.
• Participates in staff training and orientation; provides instruction as needed.
• May assist in Outpatient facilities and complete CAP requirements for advancement.
