Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP with responsibilities across assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for a patient group. You will collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and PCTs to deliver/hemodialysis therapy and support team decisions.

You will perform education for patients and families, document findings, and participate in quality improvement. This role is facility-based and involves travel to training as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Perform ongoing collection and analysis of patient data during hemodialysis and document in patient records.
• Educate patients and families about learning needs and disease management.
• Direct and ensure safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy and document treatments.
