Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. The RN will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for an assigned patient group, coordinating with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.

Responsibilities include data collection around dialysis, education for patients and families, and safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy under supervision, with opportunities for leadership and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years Nephrology Nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential nursing functions under supervision and guidance of the Clinical Educator or RN team leader.
• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after hemodialysis and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
• Direct and coordinate safe delivery of dialysis therapy with care staff.
• Administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness.
• Support emergency response measures and participate in staff training.
