Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP program. The RN will coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, under supervision.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with opportunities to participate in teaching, leadership functions, and ongoing CAP requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate nurse with professional licensure in the state of practice.
• Entry-level RN with nephrology/HD exposure preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Perform hemodialysis nursing duties under supervision and collaborate with care team.
• Document patient data and adjust care plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and self-care.
• Assist with emergency response and participate in quality improvement activities.
