Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care, a leading provider of nephrology services, seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP track. The role focuses on delivering and coordinating clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, in collaboration with the End Stage Kidney Disease care team.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, document in the medical record, and participate in teaching, leadership and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; document in the medical record.
• Delegate tasks to RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians as directed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effectiveness.
• Participate in teaching, leadership and quality improvement activities.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safe hemodialysis delivery.
