Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Ridgeland, MS is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. This role involves providing and coordinating clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients, with potential delegation to RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the relevant state.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Entry level with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
• Document patient data in the medical record and adjust the care plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
• Collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians to ensure safe, effective therapy.
