Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an OutpatientRN to provide comprehensive dialysis nursing care in Detroit, MI. You will assess patients, plan and implement treatments, and document outcomes in the medical record as part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team.

As an entry-level RN, you will work under supervision, coordinate with the team, and contribute to quality improvement efforts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current valid state nursing licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• RN with nephrology/hemodialysis experience preferred; entry level is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform dialysis data collection and analysis before, during, and after treatment and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Administer medications per prescribed protocols and document justifications.
• Provide patient and family education about treatment options and care plans.
• Assist with supervision and mentorship of Patient Care Technicians/LPNs/LVNs/RNs as assigned.
