Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in College Park, GA seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients, coordinating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.

As a member of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will participate in teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities, support documentation, and ensure compliance with policy

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the employed state.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians to deliver safe dialysis-related care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency response measures and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Document patient data and updates in medical records and communicate with the care team.
