Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Georgia is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 track, focusing on assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for a dialysis patient group.

As part of the ESKD team, you will educate patients, collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, and progress through the CAP program with required licensure and training.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience with hemodialysis and nephrology care preferred but not required for entry level CAP1.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis sessions and document in the medical record.
• Adjust treatment plan per physician/clinical educator guidance and coordinate with the care team.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, dialysis procedures, and transplant/treatment options.
• Direct and support daily delivery of hemodialysis therapy with the care team.
• Perform medication administration as prescribed and participate in emergency responses.
