Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Missouri is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). The CAP 1 role provides nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group in a dialysis setting.

The RN will coordinate with the health care team, administer medications as prescribed, and participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities. This position involves lifting and travel as needed within a health care facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification required or current.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties under supervision for ESRD patients undergoing hemodialysis.
• Monitors patient data before, during, and after treatment and updates care plans.
• Educates patients and families on treatment options and procedures.
• Delivers safe dialysis therapy and coordinates with the care team.
