Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 program. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, collaborating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and patient care technicians.

You will participate in staff training, document nursing assessments, administer medications as prescribed, and support patient education and treatment planning within a dynamic dialysis team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Document care and communicate with team leaders and physicians.
• Provide patient/family education and support.
• Direct and coordinate safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy with staff.
